Why New England should strongly consider Terrell Owens for the 2013-2014 NFL Football Season

GotAction, Inc. believes Terrell Owens would be a great asset to the New England Patriots.

With the 2013 NFL regular season just underway, there are many possible franchises in need of a veteran wide receiver to fill the offensive void plagued by injuries. According to league sources, numerous NFL general managers have already contacted Terrell Owens agent inquiring about his current status and availability. From the outside looking in, GotAction, Inc. feels that Terrell Owens would be a perfect match for the New England patriots.

Below are a couple of reasons why we feel this should happen.
  1. They can get him for a low cost
  2. He's still in great shape
  3. They are in need of a veteran receiver who possesses experience in the NFL whom can provide knowledge and leadership to the young blood.
  4. Gives Tom Brady a big body, physical target that poses a threat over the middle of the field.
  5. To prove he still has value and his hunger to exceed and play for a world championship franchise.
  6.  Currently Tom Brady has: Gronkowski (injured) Danny Amendola, Tim Tebow along with a bunch of unproven rookies who need a leader and an experienced potential hall of famer.
  7. Terrell Owens has learned his lesson about keeping himself, his actions and his overall persona in line due to his release from the Seahawks and lack of interest thereafter.

Yes, No? MAYBE? We Think So...

  1. Nice post but I think it's hard to see him earning a significant role even if he gets a shot.
